Ps 50:1-2 The mighty God, even the Lord, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.
2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.
KJV
Apologies for being later than I wanted with the devotional this morning. I was able to go out turkey hunting this morning and just the wonders and beauty of God’s creation kept me longer than I had planned. To watch as nature wakes up in the morning, to see the beauty of the sunrise, to hear turkeys gobbling and so forth is a wonderful thing to me. I cannot understand how anyone can deny the God of creation if they spend any amount of time in the woods, in God’s creation. My God spoke and all things came into being and I praise Him each time I am able to go out. And then the Lord allowed me to see something I never saw before. I was able to call in about six male turkeys and they were all close together about thirty yards from me and all began to fight one another. They were of course looking for the hen they could not find. When the fight was over and no hen could be found they all left together just as they came in. No, I didn’t shoot one, just watched and thank the Lord that He allowed me to see such a thing. My God is truly the perfection of beauty.
