Rom 8:37-39 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Far too often those who come to Jesus Christ for salvation neglect to come to Him for help and deliverance from the troubles and trials of life. The Bible says we are “More than conquerors through Him”. We know that we have, because of Christ, had sin, death and the grave conquered in our lives. That took place the moment we repented of sin and trusted Jesus for forgiveness and salvation. If Christ is able to do that for us then why not trust Him to deliverer us, to conquer every trouble and trial in our lives? Why do we so often try and face things on our own only to fail and then call upon the name of the Lord? Why not begin with Jesus? The trial may not end immediately as we see so many endure in the Bible but we will know God is on our side. We will feel His ever abiding presence. Remember David and his dealings with Saul? They went on for a time but David stood from the beginning on the winning side. Let us believe what the Bible clearly says and call upon our Savior first and not last. Then we will know we are indeed on the winning side.
