1 Cor 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

A final thought on our way of escape for this week. There are times when we think we cannot hold up, that our help has failed and there is no hope. In those times we need turn again to His Word and I think of these verses this morning concerning Abraham as he grew older and older waiting on the promise of God. (Rom 4:20-21 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; 21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.) Our God is able to do all that He has promised. Abraham was fully persuaded and our God is fully able. Believe that today because it is true today.
