Job 26:7 He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.
KJV
Have you ever considered the magnitude of this one verse? I am told today to trust the science. Trust the science in everything from global warming to the virus. Trust the science. Yet science cannot accept this one verse that gives us a truth that Job understood before there was anything known as science. God is the creator of all, sustains all, and is over all. Our God is so powerful that He and He alone created the heavens and the earth and to display His great power He hung the earth on nothing. God suspended the earth in the heavens, only God holds it in the air. The remaining verses of Job 26 point to the power and greatness of our God. Knowing the things Job knew, that he should trust God even in the midst of all that he was dealing with, that lessons should not be lost on us today. Trust God and God alone. When we realize that our God is so powerful that He hung the earth on nothing we than can more easily trust Him with our lives today. God did hang the earth on nothing.
