February 8th, 2022 by Pastor SolleyGal 6:7-9 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
2 Thess 3:12-13 Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
13 But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.
KJV
The last two uses of the word weary in the Bible bring the same truth, we will at times become weary, but we need continue doing what is good and right in the sight of our Savior. “Be not weary in well doing”. As was noted yesterday there are a great many things that can cause weariness in the lives of people. The Christian is no exception. And when we do become weary Satan attacks doing all that he can to move us away from the Lord. But we need continue on, we need stay faithful, we need to keep doing what is right in the sight of God. That is what well doing means, doing well in the sight of God. Why continue doing what is right? Because we will be rewarded one day, we will reap if we faint NOT. Finish well dear Christian, be not weary.
