Ps 52:1 Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually.
Rom 2:4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

I was thinking during our service last evening in church just how good God is. How good God is to all and just how good God is to me. There are many problems in this world today and we all face problems in our lives. There are many things I wonder about if I allow myself to do that. Why this or why that and the answers never seem to come. But when I stop and just remember, stop and meditate upon the Lord, upon Christ, upon all the good things God has done and is doing in my life the things I wonder about fade into the background and the goodness of God replaces them. David knew the goodness of God, he experienced it in his life. Through all the trials and triumphs, through all the tears and joy, David knew the goodness of God was continually there. Paul knew it as well. Paul knew that it was only by the goodness of God he was born again. Paul knew God’s goodness through trials and triumph as did David. Paul knew God’s goodness was continually before Him. We will also if we just stop and meditate upon the goodness of God.
