O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.
O Lord, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
Sing unto the Lord, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

“Weeping may endure for a night”. The truth of that statement is played out in our lives time and time again. This is a world that is filled with sorrows, with heartaches and questions we don’t have the answers to. Yet for the born again believer in Christ we know there is joy coming in the morning. The night may be long but there is joy coming in the morning. There may be many tears shed but there is joy coming in the morning. When Jesus is your blessed hope, when you have placed faith and trust in Him, when He is your strength and comfort, there is joy in the morning. How can we get through the night? Jesus is the answer. How can we get past the heartache? Jesus is the answer. How can we endure the trial? Jesus is the answer. Weeping will endure for many nights in this world but the joy we have in Christ is for all eternity. Place your faith and trust in Jesus today and look for the joy of the morning.
