Ps 127:1-3 Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.
3 Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
KJV
I had been away from this desk for a few days visiting children and grandchildren and we had a wonderful time. At our daughter’s home church they were having revival services and I was able to hear some sound preaching. We also were blessed by our granddaughter singing a special in the services. She is four years old and wanting to do something in church. Both of her brothers are born again and we pray for the day that we will hear the same of her. It is good to be back home, back to our church family and back to where the Lord wants us to be. But what a blessing children are when they follow the Lord and then when they start their children off on the right track. The evangelist said this about his family and I pray it is true of mine. “I never pushed them to the Lord, never made them follow the Lord, but I made it so sweet that they just had to reach out and grab hold and see for themselves.” Is that what you are doing?
