Col 3:1-4 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
KJV
So many it seems are bound by the fear of uncertainty of our day, an uncertainty that is being promoted by government and media. Should we listen to our government, to science, to the media? Why do their recommendations change daily? Who can we trust? The born again believer has the answers to those questions, set your affections on things above and look to the one we trusted to save our soul to keep us safe. Look to the Lord dear Christian for He is still above, still on the throne, and still in control even in our uncertain day. How did those men of God deal with the uncertainty of their day? Three in Babylon looked to their God when government told them to bow or burn and God delivered them. Daniel looked to his God when government told him he could not pray and God delivered him. The apostles looked to their God when religious leaders told them not to speak and God delivered them. We are not the first to live in uncertain times, we have examples to follow and like they did we need look to the one who is still on the throne. Set your affection on the one who is above.
