Rev 21:22-27 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
KJV
I am thinking of a city this morning as I look back upon the last week. I ask for miracles from our God and they were granted as souls were saved at our camp and there was a sweet, sweet spirit in the air. The youth of our day may or may not be under more pressure than the youth of my day and before because Satan has always been on the attacked. But to say the battle has increased today cannot be denied and our young people need to see that our God is still on the throne and that we as born again believers are indeed on the winning side. It was as if one could see the glory of God settle on our camp in a way that was not felt in the past few years. God did make His presence known and felt. I want to thank those who were in prayer as well as those who worked so hard. It was a labor of love and will remain one as we move forward in the Lord. It amazes me that more adults cannot see the importance of stepping out and up for the Lord, of being faithful to God, of putting Jesus Christ first in their lives. When young people do not see that they have no reason to follow Jesus. But a group of young people did see that last week and we will see the blessings of that example in their lives in years to come.
