2 Cor 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
Gal 5:13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

The liberty we have in Jesus Christ is complete but that does not give us liberty to live completely as we want. This is on display daily it seems now in America. We have the most freedom ever granted be any nation in history to its citizens. Yet it seems that some want to use this freedom to tear down the very nation that has granted it to them. People burning the very flag that grants them such freedom, rioting against a nation that gives them more opportunities than any other people in the world. Athletes making millions of dollars for playing a game claiming that America has kept them from pursing their dreams. Others who want to represent our nation on the world stage refusing to stand for our flag. Yes, we have the freedom to do these things, but why fight against the very nation that provided that freedom? But many Christians do the same thing when they choose to live a lifestyle against the one who gave them salvation from hell and a home in heaven. We do have liberty in Jesus Christ as born again believers. But that liberty should never be turned against the very one who provided it.
