13 Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
14 That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.

What are you willing to commit to Jesus Christ today? If you take the time to study the life of the Apostle Paul you may come to the conclusion as I have that no other individual was so filled with the joy of the Lord than Paul was. That no other individual was so given to serving the Lord, praising the Lord as Paul was. That perhaps only John was so full of love for Jesus than Paul was. You will also find that no other individual had more reason to cower in fear, complain about his lot in life, just want to hide in a corner than Paul had. Jews and Gentiles alike tried several times to murder him, under constant Satanic attack, physical problems, more things piled onto Paul than perhaps any other as well. How could Paul keep going for the Lord? The answer is above and has to do with what Paul committed unto Christ. I have heard more than one individual tell me that they are now afraid to attend church due to this virus. I know it is real, I know it is serious, but I also know it is being used to spike fear in the hearts and minds of people. What I wonder is what have we committed to Christ? Have we committed so little to Him that we will not trust Him to take care of us? Have we committed so little to Him that we are willing to walk away from Him? Or are we willing to commit all things to Him? The way we answer that question will set our course of action, service, and joy in the Lord in the days that lie ahead. What are we willing to commit to Jesus today?
