Dan 10:12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.

Why doesn’t God hear my prayers? Why doesn’t God answer when I call? These are questions I have been asked over the years by some who are in trials and they wonder why it seems God is far away. Perhaps they are questions you have asked at times in your life as well. Notice that the prayers of Daniel were heard the very moment he uttered the words, from the first day. But the verse indicates that there was a space of time before the Lord came in answer to the prayer of Daniel. Why the space of time one cannot say, only that these things are involved. God moves in His time and not in ours. God is never early or late. We learn to trust more as we wait on God. God always hears and answers. Even though Daniel had to wait for a space of time it was well worth it when he heard from God and Daniel had the assurance that God heard his prayers from the beginning. Whatever it is you are going through today dear Christian don’t give up on prayer for God hears and God will answer.
