Another short statement to finish our week. What is truth? Where can truth be found today? Certainly not from the government or the news. I can’t even bring myself to watch the news today. Can truth be found in family and friends? Even if they do not intend to lie or mislead they can and perhaps often do. Where can I find truth that I can depend upon? Only in His Word, only from the one that cannot lie, only from the one whose Word is settled in heaven for all eternity. If we know His Word is truth, then why do so many ignore it? Did you spend time in your King James Bible yesterday, will you spend time in your King James Bible today? I don’t mean reading this or another short devotional and then putting your Bible way, but did you read and meditate upon the Word of God? Did you carry it with you in your mind and heart? Are you given to the only source of truth in the world today? If not then you need to begin today to be in the Bible, to read, study, and meditate upon the truth.
