Jesus had a passion for the cross, has a passion for souls, has a passion for the redeemed in Christ. Jesus also has a passion for the young people. (Luke 18:15-16 And they brought unto him also infants, that he would touch them: but when his disciples saw it, they rebuked them. But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.) Satan has always wanted to destroy the young people, little children, and keep them from ever coming to Jesus. Today we witness his success in this ongoing battle. The public schools are a cesspool of immorality. Today they rob our young people even of their gender. Church pushed to the background by every worldly activity one can think of. Now a pandemic so they say that has left many things opened but closed churches. Who suffers the most? Our little ones. Jesus cries out still for them to be brought to Him because Jesus has a passion for the little ones. I thank the Lord today for parents who brought me to Jesus and that started with them bringing me to the church house. First I was carried, then led by the hand, then walked beside mom and dad into church. No matter what the world was saying, the Bible says go to church so we went. When the time to decide was left up to me there was no decision to make, I wanted to go to church. Why? Because mom and dad realized Jesus has a passion for young people.
