How to move from death to life, from an enemy of God to a friend of God, from sin to righteousness, that is our problem. Man started out on the same team with God but was moved away from God, made an enemy of God by sin. That is a sin nature we are born with and acts of sin we all commit. How then to move from death to life? I find there is nothing that I can do, nothing that man can do to make that move. (Eph 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. – Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;) What a dilemma we find ourselves in. Ignore the problem and stay an enemy of God or try and fix the problem of sin by ourselves. Neither of which will work by the way. So God sent one to take care of the sin problem. (Rom 5:6-10 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.) Jesus is the one and only one who can make us a child of God, move us from enemy to friend, move us from one team to the other if you are still thinking along those lines. How to make that a reality in your life tomorrow.
