Rev 14:1-5 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.
2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:
3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

The things taking place in America tody make this Christian long more and more for the day that is coming including the one we see in Revelation fourteen. How I long to hear the new song that will be heard throughout heaven and earth. I know I am not a part of the group named in verse one but I also know I am a part of the group named in verse two. How I long to see the Lamb of God today more than I ever have. Part of that has to do with growing older. Younger people want to live their life, older people want to see Jesus. Part of it also has to do with the path of destruction America is on today. Where is our joy to be found today, where can hope be found.? For the Christian only in the Lamb of God. I don’t know the words to the new song I will hear when it is sung around the throne of God but I do know the words to many blessed hymns today and I will be singing them in the hope of seeing the Lamb of God sooner than later.
