Isa 57:14-15 And shall say, Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way, take up the stumblingblock out of the way of my people.
15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Some may have guessed from the devotionals this week that we are having special revival services beginning on Sunday at Cherry Corner. Can God send revival to this sin cursed nation we are now living in? That answer is yes, but we must meet the conditions. A contrite heart, a contrite person is one who is troubled by what they see around them and what is going in their own lives. That one is not only troubled but they are convicted by the Holy Spirit as well. But then there must be action on the part of the contrite ones. Will we continue just the way we are or will we by the power and grace of God Almighty make the changes necessary to see revival in our lives. When will we decide to put the election behind us, set the virus aside, and press on for Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit gave Paul these words when he was living under an oppressive government and dealing with sickness. Phil 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. What if we decided to set fear, discouragement, disappointment aside and just press on for Jesus in these last day? Then we would see revival.
