Phil 1:21-23 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
22 But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not.
23 For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:

The recent election and now runoff elections have caused this preacher much concern and discouragement. A nation now about to take another turn down. What are we as Christians to do? Do we revolt against government? Do we smile and go along with things? Those things do not appeal to me. So what do we do? Get active for Jesus Christ in these last days. That should appeal to all who know Jesus as savior. I have always counted it a blessing to live in the time that I do, that we do. That has not changed as we see the day of His return getting closer. We knew world conditions would get worse and worse, now we are living them here is America. So get busy for Jesus. He is still the same God, the same Savior, the same provider and protector. Jesus has not change so let us get busy for the Lord. We may be in the same strait Paul was and as that is true then we need follow the example of the apostle. Paul was busy for the Lord until the end and finished his course well.
