Daily Devotions

Ps 51:7
Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
KJV
I like to get up early in the winter mornings, make a cup of coffee and watch the day start out our kitchen window. The snow, newly fallen, or blown around in the night is such a way that it has covered up all the tracks from the previous day. It makes a good time to pray, a good time to plan the day, a good time and place to spend some time with the Lord. Everything seems fresh and new and it reminds me of the way we can start a day with our Lord. All is new, no tracks in the snow of our lives, a brand new day awaits and what type of tracks will we make today? Will they be tracks following close by our Lord? Will they be crisp, decided tracks? Will they be clean tracks today? Or will we wonder today, will we step into mud and make dirty tracks? Will our tracks show that we went places we never should have went? Will they show things we never should have done? What type of tracks will we make today in this fresh snow?
