Isa 9:6-7 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

What a beautiful morning in my little part of the world. Up at 5:00AM, shoveling snow, cold, wind blowing, what a beautiful morning. I do mean that as I joy in a new fallen snow no matter how much work it may bring with it. It seems to lay a blanket of peace on this troubled world. I think of each snowflake, different from all the others. That is not a wonder of nature, that is a work of God. The very same detail God puts into a snowflake He pays attention to in you and me. What a wonder, what a peace. Thank you Jesus for this new fallen snow.
