November 19th, 2020 by Pastor SolleyTitus 3:1-5 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

The difference that Jesus Christ can make in a life is set before us in these verses. Notice verse two in light of what we have been witness to over the past eight months in our nation. The violence and looting, the vile speech that come out of the mouths of people, the hate that is clearly seen. These should not be in the Christian and they will not be when one is given to Jesus Christ, not in part, but all the way given to Christ. I am so glad that I do not have to be foolish and disobedient, do not have to be filled with hate. I did not say these things can never be seen in me, but it is true that they do not have to be because of Jesus Christ. What a blessing that we can be different and set apart from the world.
