Acts 22:7-10 And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
8 And I answered, Who art thou, Lord? And he said unto me, I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecutest.
9 And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me.
10 And I said, What shall I do, Lord? And the Lord said unto me, Arise, and go into Damascus; and there it shall be told thee of all things which are appointed for thee to do.

What have you been appointed by God to do? None are appointed to do nothing, all are appointed to do something, all are appointed to make their life count for something for the Lord. Modern day Christianity likes the idea of doing all for self, being given to the world, and then going to heaven one day. All those given to that type of thinking are going to have an awakening in heaven, an awakening to what might have been, what life might have held for them, what they missed by not looking for their appointment made by God. I for one never dreamed of being a pastor, never wanted to be a pastor. Then why am I? I found by asking in prayer, by seeking His will in His Word and prayer, by seeing doors God opened, that this was and is still my appointment. What I never dreamed of, what I never wanted, has given me the most wonderful and blessed life in the Lord. Ask God what He has appointed you to do and follow that appointment.
PS
I will be away from my desk for the next week and will try and post but am not sure if I will be able to. I have had some problems when away from my PC.
