Matt 26:19 And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them; and they made ready the passover.
KJV
One verse this morning that speaks volumes when it can be applied to us as it was applied to the disciples. They did as they were appointed by Jesus and made ready the passover. They also did as they were appointed by Jesus in preaching the gospel, in serving Him, in loving Him, in loving each other, in staying faithful to Him, in I would say all things. They did as Jesus appointed them. Can that be said of you this morning? I only hope that one day, by the grace of God, it can be said of me. I know that is not absolutely true as I write this today, that there are things in my life I need to turn over to Him and do as I am appointed. I say that not for any other reason than that it is true. As the children’s song goes, “He’s still working on me to make me what I ought to be.” How about you this morning? Are you moving is a direction that one day it could be said that you did as Jesus appointed you?
