1 Cor 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
KJV
Perhaps no verse in the Bible brings more questions than this one does. What exactly happens in that twinkling of an eye? Will my eyes close here and open in heaven? Will I know who I see when my eyes open? Who will I see first? What is the change, will it be a changed mind, a changed body, or both at the same time? What happens when the heart stops and for me eternity begins? Let me say that depending on if one is born again or not the changes that take place are very different. Are you saved this morning, are you a born again believer? If that answer is yes then the change will be a grand and good one. If that answer is no the change will be a grand a terrible one. So before any questions can be answered about the change that will take place take care of the most important question and be sure you are born again, be sure you are ready for this change.
