2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

Heaven is a wonderful place, full of glory and grace. That is the way the children’s song goes I believe and it is correct. But did you know heaven is also a restricted place? Heaven has gates and walls and not all are permitted to enter into heaven. What if you were to appear before the gates of heaven today and you were asked why you should be allowed to enter? What would your answer be? That will happen one day. One day all of us will stand before Almighty God and be called to give reason why we should be allowed into heaven. What will your answer be? There will be many reasons given I am sure. Reasons like “I went to church my whole life”, or “I always tried to be a good person”. Or “I have been baptized and I take communion” and many more I am sure. But will those be reason enough to gain access to heaven? Not according to the Bible, according to the Bible only one reason will grant one access to heaven and that is having Jesus Christ as your personal savior. I have my answer ready, “I have repented and asked Jesus to forgive and save me.” What will your answer be?
