2 Peter 3:10-11 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

There are many today who are wondering, because of the chaotic conditions of our nation and the world, about the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. Is this virus something that will ready the world for a leader who will seem to have the answer? Is this the beginning of what will be the mark of the beast when one has to prove they have had a vaccinee? What of the newly signed peace agreement between Israel and the UAE? There are many who today wonder just how near the rapture is. But what of the condition of self, are you taking a look within? The Bible tells us we need to be looking within as well as up in these last days. Are you ready for the return of the Lord Jesus Christ? Are you what Christ wants you to be. My challenge for all who read these devotionals is to look within while we are looking up. Be sure you are ready to hear that trumpet.
