Eph 1:17-23 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
KJV
A precious gift that come with salvation and the Holy Spirit within is that our eyes can be enlightened, that we can see and along the way understand the workings of God in our lives. I woke up this morning in the darkness of the early dawn. As I lay in my bed I began to see my surroundings. Now they were familiar but even if they were not my eyesight began to adjust and I began to see more and more. The same thing can be applied spiritually as we grow in the Lord. We may not be able to see clearly at first what the Lord is doing in our lives or fully understand. But as time goes by we begin to see, our spiritual sight begins to adjust and we understand just why some things happened the way they did, why some things worked out as they did. We must remember it is not important to understand everything all at ones, sometimes our eyes need to adjust and as they do we just need to trust Him.
