35 And he sent messengers throughout all Manasseh; who also was gathered after him: and he sent messengers unto Asher, and unto Zebulun, and unto Naphtali; and they came up to meet them.
Judg 7:7-8 And the Lord said unto Gideon, By the three hundred men that lapped will I save you, and deliver the Midianites into thine hand: and let all the other people go every man unto his place.
8 So the people took victuals in their hand, and their trumpets: and he sent all the rest of Israel every man unto his tent, and retained those three hundred men: and the host of Midian was beneath him in the valley.

When Gideon first sounded the alarm, blew the trumpet, that he was going to stand against Midian 32,000 men came to stand with him. Then God told the fearful and unwatchful to go home and Gideon was left with 300 men. When the men numbered 32,000 they were still outnumbered by about four to one, now it would be impossible for them to have victory. Impossible except for one thing, God was going to save them. The men that were left were brave, were watchful, and God was going to use them in a miraculous way. Today, in these uncertain and fearful times we serve the same God and we should also stand brave and watchful. No one of us, not even 300 of us can change the troubled times we are living in and I know that. But our God is still able, if we stand with Him, to give us great victories in this world. I am not blind to what is going on, I am watchful, but my God is still able and I pray He give me the grace to stand as Gideon did.
