Ps 82:1-3 God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.
2 How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
KJV
No born again believer in Christ would think this verse true of themselves yet many times a day we prove it true of ourselves. How? Each time we make decisions based on the world’s values, on our own feelings, or on the morals of the present day we remove ourselves from the Word of God as dictating our actions and even our thoughts. When we do that when we judge unjustly. To judge not only means to make a decision about the right or wrong of others but of ourselves as well. Each time I do something based on the world and not on the Word of God I have judged the world to be right and God to be wrong. If I turn on the TV and watch a program where the actors are taking the name of God in vain I have judged their standards of speech to be right and God’s standards to be wrong. I watch Christians willfully doing what they know to be wrong based on the Bible but acceptable in the world. They judge the world to be right and God to be wrong. How long will we judge unjustly?
