Rom 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

Another shorter verse to meditate upon this morning. Indeed of God be for us. How does it come to be that God would be for me? First one needs to repent and turn to Christ for forgiveness of sin and eternal salvation. Now I am no longer an enemy of God but a child because I have been born again. Next there must be that daily walk with God through prayer and reading my Bible. Now I am walking with Him by my side. Then I need do all that is in me and by the grace of God obey God and His Word. Now God is pleased with me. Not pleased with my perfection because I never will be, but pleased with my desire to please Him and my effort. Then I can feel that God is with me.
