Daily Devotions

Rom 8:37-39 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

There are some portions of Scripture that are as comforting to me as a blanket that a young child may need to fall asleep. That blanket, or stuffed animal needs to be felt for them to feel safe and secure at night or when they are troubled as it represents security to them. So it is with our Bible and the familiar portions of Scripture that always bring us comfort and a real security. What a blessing to know that we are His, that someone loves us so very much that they will never let us go. At times I am troubled, and there are many, I hold tight to the above verses and many others like them in the Bible.
