6 And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully.
7 And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner.

How blessed and happy I am that Jesus is willing to be the guest of a sinner, that all any of us need to do is ask Him to come in. Zacchaeus was a sinner in that tree but he was about to become a forgiven sinner and a forever changed man. (Luke 19:8-10 And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold. 9 And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham. 10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.) When salvation is real then real changes take place in our lives just as they took place in the life of Zacchaeus. Have you ever asked Jesus Christ to come into your life, have you ever asked Him to sit down with a sinner? When you do and He does the changes in your life are proof of His salvation in you.
