March 25th, 2020 by Pastor SolleyJosh 5:13-15 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?
14 And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?
15 And the captain of the Lord’s host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.

Joshua faced an impossible situation as he stood before the walls of Jericho. He was not to go around the city, not to pass by, but was to fight and destroy it, but how? God gave at that time of doubt a vision to Joshua and not only a vision but a visit from the captain of the host of the Lord. It was the Lord Jesus Christ that came and stood beside Joshua. We need be standing beside the Lord in the very same way today in these days of doubt and for many fear. How bad is this virus going to get? Will we ever see the same type of lives we have known? When can people get back to work? Why doesn’t the congress get behind the President and all stand together for the good of this nation? These are all questions that I have and more. Is this the crisis that will open the door for the rapture is another thing I think about. Are we that close to hearing the trumpet? When these things bring trouble to our minds we need remember who is standing close by, the same sword drawn in His hand, and that same one will protect us as He protected Joshua.
