6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Three words I would draw your attention to this morning, three of the most important words in Scripture. They are found in verse five above, “He hath said”. They may seem to be the least important words in the above verses but they speak volumes. I can depend upon the Lord, I can trust the Lord to be my helper, to be ever at my side, to take away fear, because “He hath said”. God is forever true, always has been and always will be. It is part of the nature of God that God cannot lie so whatever promises I find in His Word are true because “He hath said”. Some of those promises are just for Israel but many of them are for me as well. Read John chapter ten and rejoice in your position in Jesus Christ for “He hath said”. Read Revelation twenty one and twenty two and look for that day with gladness because “He hath said”. Read the Word of God with this truth in mind, because “He hath said” all that He has promised will come to pass.
