Isa 41:14 Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the Lord, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

Have you ever noticed how comforting just a few words from the Bible can be? The 139th Psalm is of great comfort, John chapter 14 is of great comfort. But I find great comfort in just a few words in the Bible and our reading this morning is an example of that. “I will help thee” are four words that will carry me through this day. What situation am I going to find myself in today, what circumstances may come up that are beyond His knowledge and control? If you come up with one let me know. What a powerful message, “I will help thee”. It doesn’t say He will help me if it is not my fault, if He is able, if I am worthy, none of those things. God simply says “I will help thee”. Four very powerful and comforting words.
