Ezek 37:1-3 The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,
2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.
3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest.
Ezek 37:11-12 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.

Was revival just for Israel or is revival for our day as well? Any time the fire that should burn within the heart of God’s people seems to go dim there is a need for revival no matter the age or the people. The church is not Israel and what is for Israel in the Bible has not been passed off to the church or the New Testament believer, but there can be revival in our day. Just as the bones were brought back to life in Ezekiel so can our bones be alive unto Jesus Christ today. If you think revival just for Israel then you are in great need of revival today. I watched some news last evening and I can see our nation in need of revival. I was up very early this morning and turned on one of the TV preachers and I see the church in need of revival today, real revival and not the made up emotion that I saw this morning. I look at my life in the light of Scripture and know I need revival today. Praise God there can be revival for those that seek it, the bones can live.
