2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.
3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest.

Can these bones live? The overwhelming consensus would be no. There was no life in the bones, the flesh was gone from them, they were separated one from another, the overwhelming consensus would be no. We find later in the chapter that the bones represent Israel and the Lord is asking the prophet if Israel could be restored, if Israel could be revived, if Israel could live again. Even the prophet could not give an answer. This can be applied to revival today. Revival in our churches, revival in our nation, revival in our individual lives, can there be revival today? The overwhelming consensus would be no. Look at the condition of America, a once Godly nation. Alcohol and drugs, prisons full, taking God out of society. I recently read that Planned Parenthood is planning on spending 45 million tax dollars received from the government on the elections in 2020 to assure a murderer is placed in the White House. Weak churches, no commitment to the Bible, to walking with Christ. Can there be revival? Answer that question today and we will look more at this tomorrow.
