Isa 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.
KJV
Was this promise for Israel or for God’s children of every age? I look at it as God’s promise for His children of every age. Israel had victory over every enemy as long as they were walking with the Lord and that was and still is the problem with Israel. They saw this promise true as they entered into the Promised Land, as David fought against the enemies of the nation, as Solomon found peace on every side, they saw this promise true. But they turned away from the Lord and found the promise lacking. Was the problem with Israel or with God? The problem was with Israel. We as believers in Christ can claim this promise today but we must walk with the Lord as they should have. Think of the victories God has given you when you were walking with Him. Then were trying times come, when it seems we lack the victory we need, check your walk.
