Matt 6:9-13 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
KJV
What can we ask God for? The Bible says our daily bread. (Verse 11) That would take in our daily needs. Can we also ask God for the things we want, for the things we desire? Can we ask for big things, impossible things? Can we ask for small things that others would have little need of. It comes down to this, we can ask God for anything. But we also need to remember that we are to ask within His will and rest is the assurance that God does all things well and knows what is best for us. Many things I have asked for and the answer has been yes. Others things I have asked for and the answer has been no. One thing I do know is that many times we have not because we ask not. So ask God for all things that we believe we need, all things we believe are in his will, for big things, for small things, and then leave it all in His capable hands.
