2 And the people cried unto Moses; and when Moses prayed unto the Lord, the fire was quenched.
3 And he called the name of the place Taberah: because the fire of the Lord burnt among them.
4 And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat?

Playing sports growing up I was at times told “Attitude is everything.” That was not entirely true, ability is needed, but the point did come across. A good attitude can take an individual a long way toward success. Here in the camp of Israel we find a bad attitude. (Verse 4) There was a mixed multitude, some who were complaining about everything. How many we are not told but I think just a few and what did that few bring to the camp, a bad attitude. That bad attitude then spread and we find in verse one the people, a majority complaining before the Lord. Our attitude does make a difference and just look at our homes, our families and our churches. They all can be made better or worse by our attitude. What type of attitude do you have? We can’t be all positive all the time but even in times of stress, even in times that are not good we can still have a good attitude before God.
