Mark 1:30-31 But Simon’s wife’s mother lay sick of a fever, and anon they tell him of her.
31 And he came and took her by the hand, and lifted her up; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered unto them.

What better to do than take our needs to Jesus? I believe in doctors and medicine, I believe in getting support from family and friends, I believe in seeking counsel from others. But I believe that we first need go to Jesus for those things and those things are useful only after we seek out our Lord. Who better to place the entirety of our lives in His hands than Jesus? Here I find that Jesus helps us immediately. The problem may not end at once but the help does come immediately. Peter knew what to do when there was a need, may we follow his example.
