2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.
4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.

David knew even after or especially after his sin that there was only one to turn to, only one who could help him. So many times when a Christian falls into sin they continue to turn away from the only one able to help them. One sin leads to another, deeper and deeper they fall into sin until it seems there is no escape. How far do we need to fall before we can see that Jesus Christ is our only help, Jesus is the only way out? David’s sin was great, his fall far and hard, yet the Lord was there ready to forgive and restore as soon as David repented. The same God is waiting there for you and me my friend. Is it time to turn to Him and not away?
