Daily Devotions

Ps 55:14 We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company.

We as a church began this camp ministry in 1996 and each camp takes on its own feeling, its own spirit. It is hard to determine which has been the best camp, but this one is special, there is a special spirit, a sweet spirit about this camp. Our speaker and his family have been going through difficult times right now, things that do not spring from the camp, but our God is taking care of and encouraging him and his wife. Our family shares some of the same problems in that our families are tied together by marriage, but our God is taking care of and encouraging us. I have had to deal with some things I prayed I would not have to deal with this week, things not springing from the camp, but God has made a way. All the while this camp is helping all of us through difficult times. This may not be the best camp we have ever had but it may be the most important for me as well as our missionary and his family. One more day, keep praying for us.
