Everyone wants something for free. The problem today is that most things advertised as free aren’t really free at all. Stay at this motel and have a free breakfast. After one pays for the room the breakfast is not free the price has been added onto the room rate. But in our text we find something that is really free. There are no hidden fees, nothing hidden, no payment due at a later date. Salvation in Jesus Christ really is free, Jesus paid the sin debt in full for all who come to Him. Why is it that the thing which is really free few people want? If you are spiritually thirsty there is only one place to quench that thirst and it is free.
