Rom 8:17-19 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

What do we and what will we possess in Jesus Christ? I can make a long list this morning of what we as born again believers possess in Jesus Christ right now and what we will possess in Christ when we stand with Him in heaven one day. But that list will not be complete, not even be close to being complete for we cannot begin to comprehend all that we are and have in Jesus Christ. Jesus is the heir of all things, the sole owner of all of creation, all is His. So when the Bible tells us that we are joint-heirs with Christ it tells us that all that is His is ours as well. Try and come to a full understanding of that and you will find it impossible. Yet with all of this in front of us I find many a Christian complain and question the actions of God. How can that be when we have all that is His? Yes we may have to endure for a time, Jesus endured more than we ever will, but it will be worth it all when we realize our inheritance in full.
