2 Sam 7:25-27 And now, O Lord God, the word that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant, and concerning his house, establish it for ever, and do as thou hast said.
26 And let thy name be magnified for ever, saying, The Lord of hosts is the God over Israel: and let the house of thy servant David be established before thee.
27 For thou, O Lord of hosts, God of Israel, hast revealed to thy servant, saying, I will build thee an house: therefore hath thy servant found in his heart to pray this prayer unto thee.

God’s promises are never to be taken lightly for what God has said God will do, His Word is established forever. (2 Sam 7:25) Find one thing in the Bible that God has said He will do and has not done and you will find something no one else has been ever able to find or ever will find. God is faithful my friend and when it seems His promises fail it is not because of God but because of our lack of faith, our lack of trust, our lack of believing Him. That does not tell us that all that takes place in this life will be to our liking, but it does tell us all that takes place will be within His control, within His will for us and our lives. Daniel most likely did not enjoy being thrown into the den of lions, but he did not go there alone, His God was faithful. Many things we may not like to go through, but we don’t go through them alone, our God is faithful. Never take the promises of God lightly.
