Daily Devotions

Gen 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

Winter has finally arrived here in central PA. I like the changing seasons because they remind me of the faithfulness of God. For some weeks now many have been saying how much they like the warm temperatures through December and the first part of January, how they do not miss the snow, how much they like a mild and warmer than normal winter. All that seems to have ended now, we have snow, it is cold, winter is here. God is faithful my friend, not some of the time all of the time and if God said the summer and winter will not cease it will not. Even as I throw wood on the fire, we heat much of the time with wood in the winter, it reminds me of the faithfulness of God.
