Had a wonderful day yesterday and a lot of time to think about Christmas, seven hours driving in a car with everyone else sleeping. It is a mystery how good God has been and is to this world sending His Son. I listened as my son-in-law prayed over our meal thanking God most for the cross and what Jesus did there. We exchanged gifts, played with the grandchildren, visited, but all the while Jesus was the reason we were together. It was not about the tree, not about the presents, but it was family who all know Christ and are thankful for what He has done and is doing for us. Christmas is a mystery.
