Daily Devotions

Prov 16:33 The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the Lord.

As was noted yesterday, the joy we have is found when we walk in the will of the Father. Consider this truth as well “The lot cast into the lap” the Lord is in charge of that as well. Nothing is going to take place in our lives without God knowing all about it, nothing is by chance. God does not send evil our way, neither does God temp us with evil, but God knows to the smallest detail all about us, everything that takes place in our lives, God is ultimately in control of everything. That truth should help us day by day to trust in the Lord as the Bible says, with all of our hearts.
